US Ecology Idaho RCRA/TSCA & NORM Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility

This is for initial waste acceptability screening. It is the customer’s responsibility to comply with U.S.DOT (49 CFR) requirements and other applicable regulations prior to waste shipment.

Accepted Wastes:

  • RCRA hazardous wastes meeting 40 CFR 268 Land Disposal Restrictions ("LDR")
  • RCRA hazardous wastes which may be treated to meet LDR standards
  • RCRA debris for encapsulation
  • RCRA hazardous soil with PCBs up to 1,000 ppm and/or organics up to 10xUTS
  • Naturally Occurring and other non-NRC regulated radioactive materials
  • K061 delisting treatment
  • PCB-contaminated materials, e.g. PCB filled transformers, bushings, capacitors, and clean-up materials
  • Soils service, brokered incineration
  • Non-hazardous solid industrial, commercial and agricultural chemical wastes
  • Bulk liquids for solidification or solar evaporation
  • Bulk or drummed solid waste
  • Household hazardous waste, non-RCRA lab packs
  • State-specific regulated hazardous wastes
  • Wastes from Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators
  • Alkaline liquids
  • Asbestos or asbestos/RCRA debris

All customers disposing of waste at the facility are required to complete:

  • RCRA Waste Product Questionnaire
  • PCB Waste Product Questionnaire
  • PCB Control Form

Prohibited Wastes:

  • Wastes prohibited from landfill by 40 CFR 268
  • Explosive waste
  • Pressurized gases or gas cylinders
  • Wastes containing >10% cyanide or sulfide
  • Bulk waste containing > 500 ppm VOCs
  • Biological or infectious wastes
